Very soon “church” and the church will look nothing
like it does to today. It has been said (and I concur) that most churches are made by man for man, instead of by God
for God. This will change. God will have a church not made by hands in the heavenlies. The cross and self denial
will return as one of the cornerstones of our preaching and living. We will live (and die if we have to) to please God,
not ourselves. The more we are persecuted, the greater privilege we will deem it to have been persecuted for His name’s
sake. The attachment to this world and materialism will fade. We’ll be more heavenly (resurrection) minded
than earthly minded. Like our father Abraham, “we will wait for the city which has foundations, whose builder
and maker is God” (Hebrews 11:10).
