Our Mission and Foundation

OUR MISSION

To establish and maintain a dwelling place
in the spirit for the worship of Almighty God,
our heavenly Father, within our community,
and throughout the world. To preach the gospel of
Jesus Christ and make disciples of all nations.

Psalms 132: 1-5 Lord, remember
David and all his afflictions; How he
swore to the Lord, And vowed a vowel
to the Mighty God of Jacob; “Surely I
will not go into the chamber of my house,
or go up to the comfort of my bed; I
will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber
to my eyelids, until I find a place for the Lord,
a dwelling place for the Mighty God of Jacob.”

I Peter 2:5 you also, as living stones,
are being built up a spiritual house,
a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Our Foundation

PRAYER

Prayer is the foundation of all Christian living and purpose. It is the most highest and preeminent ministry of the Church as it was and is in the life of the Lord.

“It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations'” Mark 11:17

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,” I Timothy 2:1

“And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”  Revelations 5:8

LOVE

The greatest doctrine in the Bible is that God can be intimately known in personal experience and the supreme purpose of redemption is restored fellowship and union between God and man.

“You shall love the Lord thy God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” Matthew 22:37

“And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39

WORSHIP

Man, as a created being, can only be fulfilled and reach his highest potential as he discovers the deep roots in his nature to love God, and evidences passion and freedom as a worshipper of the Father.

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”  John 4:24

PROPHESY

We, as the Body of Christ, are called not only to love and serve, but also to be prophetic people with spiritual insight and vision.

“Follow after charity [love], and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that you may prophesy.  For he that speaks in an unknown tongue speaks not unto men, but unto God; for no man understands him; howbeit in the spirit he speaks mysteries.  But he that prophesies speaks unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.  He that speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself; but he that prophesies edifies the church.”  I Corinthians 14:1-3

SUBMISSION TO THE HOLY SPIRIT

All true spiritual growth and manifestations that bring forth the life of God can only spring from the Grace of God, biblical humility, and submission to the Holy Spirit.

“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.  You know that you were Gentiles, carried away unto those dumb idols, even as you were led.  Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God called Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.  Corinthians 12:1-3

REVELATION KNOWLEDGE

The Words and Truth that the Lord Jesus Christ brings to us must be spiritually discerned and understood on the plane of the heart, and “seen” with the eyes of the spirit.

“God, who in sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken unto us by His Son.”  Hebrews 1:1-2
